About Insurance
Is Central DuPage Hospital Part of Your Network?
Central DuPage Hospital participates in many insurance plans. The hospital contracts with many managed care providers to be considered an "in-network" care provider.
What does "in network" mean?
Insurers often make special contracting arrangements with select medical providers who are considered "in network" or "network providers." The insurer will then pass the contracted savings on to their insured members. For example, HMOs and PPOs provide a higher level of payment coverage when medical care is delivered by a doctor or hospital that has contracted to be in their network.
What insurance plans do the Children's Memorial physicians accept?
Please click on the "Our Doctors" tab, choose a specialty and click on the physician you are interested in. A profile will appear that includes a list of insurance plans accepted by that physician.
